“After the demonstration in November 2021, we were all in awe of how easy the bed bath process looked and how much time will be saved with bed baths.

Since we have found that the Dermalux Soft Towel lotion is easy to use, and the caregivers found the product and process exiting to implement. The residents that they used it on was relaxed and enjoyed the bath, because they were comfortable and not
exposed.

The patients that we used this on was bedridden due to cancer and post stroke injuries.

Being exposed is one of the things that patients do not like about a bed bath. While being washed, the soap rinses off and then dries. The vigorously rubbing with a towel to dry is unpleasant and they get cold in between these actions.

With the Soft Towel Lotion bed bath, this is all done in a once off process with a nice warm towel and massage-like technique. When removing the towels, the patient is dressed and made comfortable in the bed. 

One particular resident that we chose the Dermalux Soft Towel lotion for was based on therapeutic reasons. It was a great success. The patient has motor neuron disease in an advanced stage. She experiences pain with any movement. With the Soft Towel lotion bath, we do not have to move her a lot during her shower on the shower chair due to minimal discomfort.

All our staff is very excited about the time they save, the calming effect this has on the residents, the soft feel of the skin of the patients. No need for rubbing the person’s skin with lotion and elevating the risk of skin- breakdown.

More residents are being introduced to the product and enjoys the comfort and the efficiency of the product.

The Dermalux cleaning wipes is big  strong and easy to use when we have to do a nappy change and we don’t need to prepare a basin with water to do a half wash.
